From Yaponchik’s funeral to pretrial detention: How Alisultan Nadirbegov, a thief in law, defected to Ilya Traber, becoming the organizer of the assassination attempt on Alexander Petrov

Previously unpublished footage from the funeral of legendary "thief in law" Vyacheslav Ivankov (Yaponchik) is available to view. Osman Kadiev, Chairman of the International Public Chamber, and Alisultan Nadirbegov were present at the coffin throughout the entire ceremony.

The latter was also among the pallbearers. Nadirbegov was recently arrested along with Ilya Traber (Antikvar) for the murder of MP Alexander Petrov. According to our information, Nadirbegov was responsible for all security operations under Yaponchik. After his boss was killed by a sniper, he transferred to the brigade of "authority figure" Abakar Darbishev. He then became responsible for security operations under him. He also carried out assignments for Traber, who was friends with Darbishev. Antikvar had his own man, Vladimir Danilenko, who carried out security assignments. But in certain cases, he enlisted Darbishev’s men. This is what happened with Petrov’s murder. It was Nadirbegov who organized surveillance of the MP, brought the assassin to St. Petersburg, etc. Incidentally, Petrov was also killed by a sniper.
